VIQRC: MIX & MATCH
VIQRC: MIX & MATCH
VEX IQ Robotics Competition Mix & Match is played on a rectangular field measuring 6’x8’ feet, as shown in the picture.
The main objective of the game is to build Stacks from Pins and Beams, and to place the Stacks in the Goals. Additional Pins are introduced onto the Field by Drive Team Members from the Load Zone.
Points are awarded based on the number of connected Pins and Beams, the number of colors included in each Stack, and for Stacks that match the Goal’s color.
Teamwork Challenge – Two teams work together, each sending one robot onto the field. Both teams must cooperate to score as many points as possible within 60 seconds.
Robot Skills Challenge – Each team competes individually to score the highest possible points within 60 seconds. The challenge consists of two parts:
Driving Skills Matches – The robot is fully controlled by the driver.
Autonomous Coding Skills Matches – The robot operates entirely on its own, without driver control, to score as many points as possible within 60 seconds.
Overview of Participating Teams
The team must consist of at least three members.
The robot must be inspected and designed by the team members themselves, including both autonomous functions and/or remote control operation by the Drivers.
