Teaching Approaches

• Play-Based Learning:

Utilizes VEX 123 and VEX GO kits as learning tools to introduce fundamental concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through engaging and challenging activities. 

• Hands-on Learning:

Focuses on encouraging students to physically assemble VEX components themselves to develop fine motor skills, logical thinking, and a deeper understanding of basic mechanical principles.

• Integrated Learning:

Connects VEX building and programming activities with other academic subjects such as Mathematics (measuring distances, counting parts), Science (forces and motion).

• Small Group Collaboration:

Promotes teamwork by encouraging students to collaborate in small groups to solve problems and create projects, emphasizing communication and idea-sharing skills.
